Transferring from it's sold out Premier performances at the OSO arts Centre, MMG MUSIC Productions are excited to bring their new production of Mark Glentworth’s Musical 7 1/2 years  to the Bread and Roses Theatre from the 10-14 August.

“Why would a man disappear inside his own home for seven and a half years, just when he has the most to share?

This isn't a story about being sick, it's a story about healing yourself. Original songs and soundscapes are interwoven with dialogue and narration, telling an extraordinary, life-affirming true story”

Mark Glentworth has been working with director Steven Berkoff since 1983, creating scores for many of his productions including On The Waterfront, Metamorphosis, Coriolanus and The Trial. He is a prolific composer across a wide spectrum of genres, with his vibraphone solo 'Blues For Gilbert' one of the most frequently performed pieces in the percussion repertoire.

Jonny Danciger is the artistic director of the OSO Arts Centre in Barnes. Stage direction and design work includes the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, Oxford Playhouse, Cumbria Opera Festival, Ashmolean Museum, Birmingham Old Rep, and British Youth Opera (assisting Keith Warner at the Peacock Theatre). Jonny has performed in the West End under the direction of Polly Findlay (Twisted Tales, Lyric Hammersmith) and Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot, Victoria Palace Theatre).
