Live Music: Monsoon Radio + Kamran Ramsden

MONSOON RADIO GIG POSTER.jpg

9.30pm - Monsoon Radio: Soft intricate intros, tense build ups and heavy choruses. We are a London four-piece creating an alt-rock sounds that draws inspiration from iconic bands; from Oasis to Black Sabbath.

9pm - Kamran Ramsden: Hailing from the lonely provinces of rural Hampshire in the United Kingdom, East-London based singer-songwriter Kamran Ramsden combines influences both old and new, culminating in a unique take on modern indie-pop. As the only bi-racial kid in an all-white town, his music reflects his dissatisfaction with traditional labels of genre and indeed everything else. Fusing the infectious guitar energy of The Strokes, the neo-soul vocals of Frank Ocean, the dance-able beats of Daft Punk and the pioneering spirit of David Bowie, he combines influences from across the musical spectrum to express the kind of individuality that only the perpetual outcasts, rebels and dreamers amongst us can fully comprehend.
