Brixton band Silvers return to the London stage with a killer new sound. Prepare for propulsive rhythms, soaring harmonies and riffs that combine indie, shoegaze, altnernative and classic rock. Formed in South London, Silvers cut their teeth on the indie circuit back in the 2010s. Now they’re back with fresh sounds and new tunes -- Where Do You Go? -- and the promise of much more to come in the months ahead. Check them out at https://silvers.bandcamp.com/
8.45pm - The Sunken Sea - Led by Melbourne songwriter Dougal James' frank lyrics and baritone drawl, The Sunken Sea's music blends the personal and the political. Soaring melodies slice through dense rhythms and syrupy harmonies to forge dusty Australiana tinged with lopsided jazz and post-punk. In late 2022, after 7 years of immersing themselves in the world-class Melbourne music scene, frontman Dougal made the move across the pond to find a different context for his creative practice. Now living in Southeast London and working at beloved indie band haunt The Cavendish Arms, Dougal has been playing intimate solo Sunken Sea shows to enraptured crowds. With an album on the way and multiple standalone singles ready to go, expect to see much more of The Sunken Sea in London and beyond!
