Live Music: John Lion + Ferman

9.30pm - John Lion is a singer-songwriter embracing the timeless vibes of the 60's with the raw, alternative energy of the 90's. Drawing inspiration from The Kinks, The Who, David Bowie, and contemporary favourites like Cage The Elephant...he's on a sonic journey to revive the spirit of these eras and infuse it with a modern twist.

8.30pm - Ferman - the rhythm guitarist of garage rock band Ora Violet – played BST Hyde Park, All Points East, sold out London’s Old Blue Last – announces his first solo project under the name Ferman. The first release ‘Amusement Park’ was premiered by London station Soho Radio and received praises by musicians and press alike – listen here.

‘I never thought I could sing, I wasn’t sure about my voice. But apparently I can and I started writing more personal songs that suit my singing voice’ – this is how Ferman presents the project that musically moves from early Velvet Underground to the more melodic side of John Lennon.
